Consulting Associate/ Analyst Knowledge as a Service (KaaS)

Knowledge-as-a-Service (KaaS) is a key department within the Frost & Sullivan's Global Innovation Hub in Iskandar. Being part of the APAC Research and Consulting practice, the team provides cross-sector, cross-geographic coverage to clients all over the world. The team currently is 20+ member strong with significant growth expected in the coming years. Important success factors at this team include high analytical skills, in-depth research capability, communication skills (both written & verbal) and above all- a curious attitude.

Position Overview

KaaS team is looking for young, energetic early career professionals (upto 2 years of experience) / fresh graduates who are keen to get exposure to multiple industries and learn from mission- critical projects executed from the Iskandar office. In addition to competitive salary, the role offers unique opportunity to be involved in international projects at such an early age.

Core Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Candidates should be experienced in utilizing secondary research databases, such as Factiva, Bloomberg, etc for profiling, building segments, identifying marketing opportunities, etc.
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
  • Prepare written final reports for each project and present key findings in analyst briefings to clients.
  • Help in preparing various Business development documents, marketing collaterals, white papers etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and work closely with external clients in various time zones.
  • Represent Frost & Sullivan at conferences and briefings.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Management/ Economics/Finance/Analytics.
  • At least 3-4 years’ of relevant experience to be considered for the role as an Analyst;
  • fresh graduates will be considered for Associate level.
  • Database knowledge is added advantage (e.g. Bloomberg, Thomson Research, Reuters, Capital IQ, Hoovers, Perfect Information, Venture Source, One Stop, Factset, DialogPro, Factiva, etc)
  • Superior analytic and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple accounts and projects concurrently, while maintaining the highest level of quality in work
