Summary of role

This role will shape the next stage of growth within this well established practice area.

The Consultant will be principally responsible for the execution of consulting projects, developing client relationships through the delivery of cutting edge future trends analysis, and building business development opportunities. The Consultant will work with our industry vertical business units and their client base to proactively pitch Consulting work, develop proposals, manage projects, facilitate workshops and deliver high value customised consulting work. 

The consultant will be required to be a thought leader in specific trends, present at client events, and have strong facilitation skills for workshops. Training and support will be provided to deliver these workshops leveraging our unique workshop tools and methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a thought leader on Mega Trends and present specific trends at client events and conferences
  • Consulting and business strategy
  • Develop strong client relationships for business development
  • Write and develop proposals
  • Write and deliver high quality research reports
  • Work with the project team to successfully deliver the consulting projects
  • Successfully present the project outcomes and facilitate workshops
  • Work with client for repeat business
  • Ensure consistent compliance to corporate standards, knowledge management processes and the ‘rules of the road’ guidelines.
  • Define consulting delivery strategy in-line with achieving predetermined revenue/business objectives.
  • Personally generate consulting business opportunities, maximising individual/team consulting targets and CBU consulting revenue streams.
  • Operate collaboratively with the sales function, striving to maintain strong business relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring the development of future consulting project opportunities.
  • Forge relationships with potential/existing client organisations, to gain a deeper understanding of potential business needs.

New Business Development

  • Personally generate consulting business opportunities, maximising individual/team consulting targets and CBU consulting revenue streams.
  • Operate collaboratively with the sales function, striving to maintain strong business relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring the development of future consulting project opportunities.
  • Forge relationships with potential/existing client organisations, to gain a deeper understanding of potential business needs.

Project Leadership and Consulting Delivery

  • Manage the delivery of consulting engagements in accordance to strict deadlines with the aim of conceptualising the client’s requirements into a Frost & Sullivan’s solution.
  • Direct and support project consulting teams, ensuring specific delivery of client focused market research/consulting collateral.
  • Facilitate growth strategy workshops with clients – training on F&S tools will be provide
  • Consulting experience
  • Foresight and trends analysis experience, including horizon scanning and scenario planning
  • Good presentation skills and experience of facilitating workshops
  • Being highly adaptable to frequent and rapid changes in workflow and project execution and willing to take on new challenges
  • Capacity to work flexibly, proactively and unsupervised both individually and within a global team
  • Ability to comfortably liaise across functions and at a senior level
  • Willingness to learn and develop both the role and personally
  • The ability to work autonomously and across industries

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Consulting experience
