Role Description for Senior Consultant:

The Senior Consultant is responsible for elements in the execution of custom consulting projects, including primary and secondary research, market analysis and modeling, and report write-up, synthesis, and presentation. He or she works with other project members to help design a research plan for the project, and undertake all the needed data gathering, analysis and modeling activities. The Senior Consultant is expected to take on increasing responsibilities in managing client interactions, and actively contributes to delivering the project on time and in budget for Frost & Sullivan's Asia Pacific Healthcare vertical

The primary duties of the Consultant are:

  • Manage consulting projects, including guidance of analysts and conducting required research and analysis necessary for the fulfillment of assigned consulting projects
  • Draw up consulting project fulfillment plans, and set up the procedures and timelines for executing primary and secondary research responsibilities, as well as manage scheduled completion of projects
  • Participate in internal team calls and client calls as required
  • Report the project status on a regular basis to the Principal Consultant or Project Director
  • Responsible for preparation and delivery of assigned consulting project deliverables.
  • Heavy client interaction (both existing and prospective clients) pre, during and post projects to ensure high client satisfaction and repeatability
  • Development of consulting leads, proposal development and closure, including supporting client meetings and presentations at each stage

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 5-8 years relevant experience in business advisory services or research and consulting
  • Advanced MS Office applications skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Advanced degrees in Life Sciences and/or Business Management, or commensurate experience working in any healthcare area or technology (including healthcare IT) is a plus
